How can you setup margin rates on the suppliers price on your website


Introduction: 

This tab will help you in setting up your tires' margin profits and additional charges that will be reflected on your website. This, in turn, will get added to the suppliers' pricing data automatically.



To do that you need to follow the given steps:

Log in to your administration panel using the details provided by the Auto Garage Network LTD.



On your dashboard, you will find the setup tyre pricing. Click on it.



You will find the following page opened on your computer screen.




To edit the margin on your supplier's price, you have four options.

1. Simple Mark Up Margin: 

Here you can mark up a margin rate for all the tyres at once.


2. By cost price:

Here you can mark up the tyres' margin by the cost price.


3. By Size:

To set your tyres' margin rates according to the sizes, you can make use of this option.





4. My manufacturers:

Sometimes you want to change the margin according to the different brands of manufacturers, with this tab you can do it all.




How To Setup Simple Mark-Up/ Margin?




Simple Mark-Up/Margin is the option in setup Tyre Pricing where you can change your margin profit on all the tyres at once. 



To do this:

Choose one of the pricing models




Fixed amount:

In this, the amount entered will be your margin rate that will show on the website added to the supplier's price along with the VAT. The example of the calculations done and the final price to be shown on your website is given as follows: 






Percentage Amount:

This will set your margin in the percentage of the suppliers. The amount will be added to the supplier's price along with the VAT and will be uploaded to your website. The example of the calculations done and the final price to be shown on your website is given as follows: 




Percentage Margin: 

To set up the percentage margin of the tyres, use the following formula

Total seller's price=(B/(100-P)*100-B)

Where B is the supplier's base price and P is the percentage margin that you have entered.

After setting the appropriate margin click on save. 

By Cost Prices:

How to setup margin rates by cost price of the tyres:



Choose one of the pricing models:



Setting up the tyres' prices with the cost price option will allow the change of the margin of the tyres according to the cost price ranges.



The first option will automatically set the price from zero to that price say P1





The second will set the price from P1 to P2 and so on.

Percentage Amount:

After setting the appropriate margin click on save. 



By Tyres Sizes:

Here you can change the margin rates according to the sizes of the tyres. All the tyres with a definite size will have a definite margin. The other options will provide you with a way to set the margin exclusively for that type of tyres like 4X4, winter etc. Don't leave any spaces blank, you have to provide value for each block of the row. You can keep the price same for every type of tyres by filling the same amount of money in each box of a particular row.



To customize your tyre prices on your website according to the size of the tyre you can follow the given steps:

By Manufacturers' Details:

How to set up tyre pricing by using manufacturers details?

Last way to set the margin on your tyres is by using manufacturers details. Here you can change the margin on the tyres according to different types of manufacturers. 




You can do this by following the given steps:

Select one of the following pricing models: 




Fixed amount:

In this, the amount entered will be your margin rate that will show on the website added to the supplier's price along with the VAT. The example of the calculations done and the final price to be shown on your website is given as follows: 




Percentage Amount:

This will set your margin in the percentage of the suppliers. The amount will be added to the supplier's price along with the VAT and will be uploaded to your website. The example of the calculations done and the final price to be shown on your website is given as follows: 




Percentage Margin: 

To set up the percentage margin of the tyres, use the following formula

Total seller's price=(B/(100-P)*100-D3)

Where B is the supplier's base price and P is the percentage margin that you have entered.

Mark-Up the manufacturers detail you to want to change your margin for.

Select the margin price.

or otherwise, mark other tyres with the amount entered in this blank. 

You can also add another tab by clicking on the add button. 



By Custom Method: 
In order to set up, your own custom method to select the margin on any tyre you can write to us in the query box and our developer team will do it for you.  



Extra or Additional Charge: 

The Extra charge may include the balancing of the wheel, valves charges or the casing disposal. The Vat will be added along with this charge and margin to the supplier's cost.

After this click on save to apply the settings.




Special Offers:

Here you can provide your customers with special offers to boost your sales:



To do this select one of the pricing model either fixed or percentage of the supplier's cost:

Now select the manufacturer you want to give your customers an offer on.

Select the type of tyre you want to give offers on.

Adjust the value of the offer by scrolling the adjustment button; left to right or right to left accordingly.




Left to right means( you are increasing the price according to seasons demand) whereas the right to left means( you are giving special offers on the tyres, like for off-season, etc.) 

You can also choose the option of show saving on the website, once clicked will show your customers the savings they are going to make and the offer you are providing them with.

You can also remove them or add the row.





To add click on Add row.





To remove click on remove.
